Restaurant - Excellent delicious Food with good presentation. Plenty of delicious Desserts. Staff - especially Manager Nestory, who was always very friendly and supportive, he would go out of his way even for house keeping support. The head Chef is equally friendly and supportive.

The service was absolutely amazing! The staff was friendly and and very helpful. Three staff member that stood out were Mr Nestory head of dining hall. Head waiter at Namaste Restaurant and Mr Roja tour and taxi concierge. Their service was above and beyond and it contributed to the comfort of our trip. They took great care of us our whole trip!

Wished the rooms could have had mini bar fridges considering the heat.

Food and resort are very good.

Bar service could be slow - cocktails were made fresh which is one of the reasons. Quite far out - need transfers to get to tourist locations.

I liked the Ambiance and services. The hospitality and serenity too. It's cleanliness also.

The mattresses require covers that prevent them from absorbing sweat. Lost my wallet with its contents, still hopeful it will be retrieved.

I haven't had any breakfast since I checked in around 12pm and checked out the next day early morning. However, the receptionist gave me a free dinner pass which I was so happy and grateful!

The blackout every now and then. But was alright in the evening.

Four major highlights stood out for me during my 15 day stay: 1) Value for money - this holiday provided extreme levels of value for money. This is one of the lowest priced all-inclusive Resorts on the island and in comparison to other resorts offering all-inclusive, this is by far the best. Don't expect 5-star facilities - this is not what Zanzibar is about. 2) The staff were very accommodating, friendly and certainly made the holiday more enjoyable. Everyone from the chefs to to the front-office reception staff made the trip wonderful. The rooms were very well cleaned on a daily basis and the cleaning staff had a wonderful non-intrusive way about them. 3) The Resort offers daily activities for free which are very enjoyable, whether it's beach volleyball, morning water aerobics or the nightly cultural and musical shows, there was never a dull moment. 4) An external tour and safari guide operator has an office on the resort, who offer reasonable (always negotiate) and well organised tours on the island. The on-site Spa also offers very well priced massages and offer discounts if you want to use the day spa on multiple days.

The WiFi range could be improved within the Resort. I was fortunate enough to have a room most far away from the reception area, but it meant the WiFi in my room was somewhat unreliable. Although after a day of being at the Resort, the need for in-room WiFi is all but forgotten between sunbathing at the many huge pools or beach, while sipping amazing cocktails (all areas where the WiFi is great). There are many seating and somewhat private lounge areas scattered around the Resort where WiFi is very strong, so it's really not that bad.

We thoroughly enjoyed the access to the public pool and nearby beach, after returning from our day trips. As honeymooners, we were upgraded by reception to a premium room, beautifully decorated (daily) by Magdelein, one of the sweetest housekeepers. Tip: Arrange your own taxi services, it's way cheaper to bargain opposite the road from the resort. Rather pay for A La Carte breakfast ($2.5) at the property, if you are looking for decent coffee! The gentleman at the excursion office was of great assistance with regards to helping us find the correct information on how to register online at a local clinic for PCR tests upon returning home. He is friendly, genuinely caring, and always willing to go out of his way! Excellent diving (pricey though) at Mnemba, although quite a distance to travel from the resort. The dive center owner offered us a special honeymoon 3 dive package rate - a lovely gesture! Check out the sandbank - walking distance from the beach!

Unfortunately, the premium room downstairs overlooked the public pool and bar area, which was rather noisy in terms of guests passing by and loud music playing from 11h00-19h00 daily. The bar ran out of ice almost every afternoon, which resulted in unpleasant coctails. Our bathroom had a foul smell. The bed was really uncomfortable, the mattress needs to be replaced. Even though the all-inclusive buffet was delicious, we were unable to make use of the option on certain days due to excursions away from the resort - which was extremely expensive (when arranged by the establishment called "transfers"). On several occasions, especially after dinner - we experienced stomach aches. Some of the bar staff looked annoyed by the festivities and came across as rude at times when asked for service. DO NOT book at the Spa, they are overpriced and the staff is unable to deliver the services advertised. Local vendors often bombard guests on the beach trying to sell shells, tours, massages, and other goods which can be disturbing.

Gorgeous resort. Very well kept and colourful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Multiple pools between the 2 resorts and lots of room for the large numbers of guests during holiday season. The all inclusive meals and drinks were brilliant although it tends to get a little repititive. Snacks were offered during the afternoon. The jetty bar next was a great bonus with a gorgeous view. Delightful daily entertainment programs. Dinner and entertainment on Christmas and new year's eve were very enjoyable. Clean beach on most days. Great spa services and excursions.

It was very busy during holiday season and that of course, comes with some disadvantages such as not finding clean towels for the beach or finding empty beach beds by the pool, however, there are multiple pools between the 2 resorts and one can always alternate. The food was repetitive. Snacks were limited and there was no guarantee of getting any if you miss the very brief servings. The quality of the cocktails dropped over the days with fresh juices being replaced by instant drinks. Sadly, new year's eve celebration was very lacking. There were no fireworks or any special celebrations. Just another party! The major downside was the location of the resort. The tide brought in large amounts of seaweed and at times it was difficult to enjoy swimming in the ocean. The beaches on the east coast by the bay are generally less impressive than other beaches on the island. The spa treatments were a bit overpriced for us however, we were given good offers of spa treatments when arranging our safari trip through spa management.

The location was good and the facilities. A telephone in t g e room to contact reception should be very helpful.

More diversity in the buffet for dinner (better food in general) Re-new or fix the appliances in the bathroom (our showerhead was loose when we came and had to fasten it) I got hit by a giant fallen palm leaf on my feet, which left them bleeding with small cuts and bruises. The staff helped me clean it with alcohol and ice. This kinda ruined some of the fun of going to the pool etc. and it could be super dangerous if me or someone else got it in their head or something. They cut some of the palms a couple of days after though. The wifi was super slow/bad and it didn’t work in our room. So just be aware of this if you really need it.

Always activity at the resort, its a lively place and fun to hang out around the pool bar.

For me breakfast is an important start to the day. I would expect a bit more attention to detail on the food, buffet service, cleanliness and rotation of buffet. I would appreciate that as a long stay guest to be given alternarive food options, 14 days is a long time in one place. It was ok, but i eventually got bored of the selection. I tried the premium breakfast area, and the service was amazing... but the food was ok, It felt good to be in a different location though. I must really commend Simon at the beach bar and Tina in the gift shop, they are super stars. Thanks for the stay, i will be back.
